About the White Mountain Waldorf School Area
The White Mountain Waldorf community is an exceptional place to live and raise a family. We are located in the Mount Washington Valley and are surrounded by the magnificent White Mountain ranges.
Located just five-miles from North Conway, a world class destination. Our geography and four-season climate assures a variety of activities for outdoor lovers, from downhill and cross-country skiing to swimming, boating, camping, hiking, and more. Residents of the Mount Washington Valley and it surrounding communities enjoy a rich cultural life, including an internationally acclaimed music festival and theatre groups such as the original Barnstormers Theatre every summer. Our school building is located on a sunny site just minutes from Conway Village. Our new location, for which building is scheduled to begin this year, is located on 75 wooded acres and abuts the Tin Mountain Conservation Center. All of which offers views of the beautiful mountains and opportunities for exploration by the children.
